Comic book lover

Lately i have been into different comic book stores around the metro manila. If there is one thing that i have noticed is that they all seem to have the same pricing range on the titles that they are selling. I'll be doing a comparison between the comic book stores that i have been into. Here it is;

Planet X Comics

The Planet X Comics' store is my everyday store because it is convenient to go to their store because they are located at Trinoma and Glorietta. Which is very accessible between my school and home. The only thing with their store is that titles are always sold out so reserving for a comic before its release is a must.

Comic Odyssey

This store is a sister company of the Planet X. It a much bigger store and more items are sold in their store. The only advantage that they have against Planet X is that they do not run out of copies (as far as I know). I been to only one of their store which is in Robinson's Galleria. I would choose their store as a primary one if it was convenient to go to their store. I have only been to their store twice and in those two visits I walked all the way from SM Megamall, which can be pretty tiring. :)) Other else than that, its a good store.

Filbars

This store is my primary store for magazines and back issues. And they also sell comic books, but the thing is that they sell it without a protection unlike Planet X and Comic Odyssey which has a card board and a plastic cover for the comic books that they are selling. Filbars has the same pricing as the other comic stores. That is why I'd still choose to buy comic books with plastic cover. I'd only buy a comic book from them if it was the only store that is selling a certain title.

Comic Quest

I was walking inside SM Megamall when i found this store. When i entered they're comics are in the walls and behind the cashier which means that you'd have to ask what comic book you need or looking for. Unlike in Planet X and Comic Odyssey wherein you can browse through their copies and get what you would like to buy. And another thing is that they're comic books are not protected. Same pricing for comic books is also observed in their store.

I therefore conclude that Planet X Comics and Comic Odyssey are the go to store, and did I mention that they occasionally hold a 50% off of their comic back issues. The two other store that i mentioned are just secondary for me because there the first two stores are much much plus over them. thanks.
